Hey, friends! It’s time for another go-’round of Schmatta’s signature column: Good Schmutz. Just an awesome collection of cool things from the design world. Read the previous edition here. Aaaaaaand go!

#1: The Most Genius Wind Chime of All Time Award goes to Kerso. This Micky D’s-inspired garden accessory made its debut at Object Permanence at L.A. Design Week.

#2: Basic roller shades are notoriously ugly. I’m fully appreciative of Everhem’s new roller shades which include a valence, making a simple window covering look far more custom.

#3: Catskill-based furniture maker Loose Parts is about to launch kitchen cabinetry. Owner Jennifer June joins Isla Porter as one of the few female cabinetry makers in U.S. Big stuff!

#4: I had the pleasure of meeting Jamie of

jamie from lazy jamie
last month and we talked about how her new TV table is about to change the how we eat while watching Netflix (in the best way). Congrats! Pick from bright blue or off-white. Retails for $546.
