Congrats to paid subs Kane C. and Emily B. on winning last month’s giveaways.
This month, I am extra-super-duper excited to announce our giveaway with Petra Hardware: A $120 gift card.
Quick reminder if you are new here: Paid Schmatta subscribers are automatically entered to win a hand-selected gift each month.
Petra was created by Monica Khemsurov, a co-founder of Sight Unseen, an interiors publication I greatly admire and that does not play by any conventional design media playbooks. Petra works with independent designers to commission completely unique knobs, pulls, and various other hardware-stuffs.
What I wouldn’t give to completely renovate my kitchen and use these wood ribbon pulls by Sam Klemick on my cabinets:
Petra’s hardware doesn’t come cheap (small batch, custom stuff; meticulously designed), but what I love about the brand is that it’s still accessible to a DIYer looking to upgrade an old chest of drawers. Kind of like when we were all buying Anthropolgie knobs in 2012…except infinitely cooler. Some of my favorites below:
Rachel Shillander Psychedahlia 2-Petal Knob
Vonnegut / Kraft Ribbon Appliance Pull
If you’re already a paid subscriber, no need to take any action — you’re already entered. If you want a chance to win, you know what to do. I’ll pick the winner on May 31.
Best of luck! And as always, feel free to comment if there are brands you love and would like to see for a giveaway.
