God this is great, I just took a photo of a free lamp that ended up in our room when I was out of town, and the greyge vinyl floors in our rental really pop at night - especially next to the horrible lamp.

We have the same issue in our bedroom - last winter, I was literally scraping ice off the INSIDE of the window above our bed. Last week, I applied a ton of caulk cord weathering seal to all of the windows and it seems to be helping so far! It’s not pretty, but it’s removable, so we can find a better/more permanent solution in the future.
Love your room. I feel like there needs to be a special category of benches/chairs that are just good for holding floating clothes (the ones in that liminal space between clean and dirty)
